Studio Komorebi is a creative event design and production firm founded by industry veterans, Emily Park and Esther Oh. With a shared vision rooted in intentionality, artistry, and emotional resonance, Studio Komorebi curates immersive experiences that are as meaningful as they are visually refined. Each event is approached as a thoughtfully orchestrated journey — sophisticated yet unpretentious, deeply personal yet universally memorable.
Guided by an appreciation for design, culture, and hospitality at its highest level, the studio draws inspiration from architecture, fine art, fashion, and global perspectives. From concept to execution, every detail is tailored to reflect the client’s story, values, and vision—resulting in environments that feel both intimate and elevated.
Emily Park, Owner and Co-Founder, brings over 15 years of experience in global luxury hospitality and high-touch event production. Her work is defined by a refined eye for detail and a thoughtful, strategic approach that honors each client’s vision. With a background in both fine arts and hotel management, Emily’s focus is in curating elevated culinary and beverage programs, refining immersive guest experiences, and managing complex productions. Now based in Los Angeles, Emily draws creative influence from years living in Europe and Asia, weaving cultural richness into events across the U.S. and abroad. She is known for cultivating long-standing, trust-based relationships with high-profile clientele, delivering highly personalized service with technical precision and discretion.
Before launching Studio Komorebi, Emily served as Vice President of Event Production & Operations at Oren Co., producing large-scale events around the world with budgets reaching $5 million. Her earlier role as a Quality Assurance Consultant for LRA, a Deloitte business, had her assessing service excellence across top-tier luxury hotel brands including The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Jumeirah, and Anantara. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from the University of Washington and a secondary degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
Esther Oh, Creative Director and Co-Founder, is recognized for her inventive creative direction and nuanced attention to detail, cultivated over 11 years in the luxury wedding and event industry. She seamlessly translates complex ideas into cohesive, visually arresting experiences—leading with clarity, collaboration, and a deep knowledge of design and production. Esther is passionate about creating environments that reflect the individuality, values, and cultural richness of each client, with an emphasis on intentionality and lasting impact. She believes that the most memorable experiences are born from the relationships— between clients, creative partners, and the environments they shape together.
Previously, Esther served as Senior Production Manager at Oren Co., where she led the design team in transforming abstract ideas into immersive realities, overseeing creative budgets, and navigating complex timelines with grace across high-profile social, wedding, and corporate events. With degrees in both Sociology and Film from the University of California, Los Angeles, her passion lies in shaping spaces that not only look beautiful, but feel meaningful.
Together, Emily and Esther lead Studio Komorebi with a commitment to discretion, artistry, and excellence — crafting events that honor every nuance of the human experience, from quiet moments to bold statements.
