Studio Komorebi was founded by two seasoned and widely trusted event professionals, Emily Park and Esther Oh. With their astute backgrounds and diverse portfolios, the firm focuses on creating not only uniquely designed events, but also seamless productions. Together, Emily and Esther are currently expanding Studio Komorebi with their comprehensive experiences in order to continue their curation of memorable, customized celebrations.

Emily Park is Co-Founder of Studio Komorebi. In her former role as Vice President of Event Production & Operations at Oren Co, she planned and skillfully executed full-service social and corporate events all around the world that ranged in scale with budgets of up to $5 million. She specializes in design development and building trusting relationships with high-profile clientele to execute events with personalized, dedicated service and technical precision. Among her published projects are features in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Before joining Oren Co in 2013, Emily was a Quality Assurance Consultant for LRA, a Deloitte Business, where she assessed the quality of service standards for well-known and respected hotel brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Jumeirah and Anantara in over 100 different properties worldwide. Emily earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from the University of Washington and a secondary degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland. 

Esther Oh is Co-Founder of Studio Komorebi. Preceding her partnership at Studio Komorebi, she was the Senior Production Manager at Oren Co, where she successfully managed the design planning process and budget of each social and corporate event produced by the company. Known for her attention to detail and inventive creative direction, she provides exceptional and collaborative project & team management and incomparable industry knowledge while executing the most complex of ideas from conception to completion. Esther holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Film from the University of California, Los Angeles.
